As many of you may understand, if you are the photographer in the family it is difficult to get a photo with you in it -and a shot of the whole family can be rare. Leaving it in the hands of random passers by -regardless of how eager they are often leaves you with something less than you'd hoped for. So on this gorgeous afternoon on a deserted beach in North Queensland (just near the Great Barrier Reef) watching the kangaroos hop by I saw our reflection in my sunglasses that my daughter loves to wear- it was a perfect chance to get a family photo....it's one of our favourites.
